While the Ultra High Rise Ankle Jeans and the normal Ultra High Rise Jeans in an extra-short length fit the same on me, this is a great option for those of a normal height who like the fit of straight-leg jeans but want a more cropped length.
Another difference is in the fabric, as these are a more stretchy version of their full-length counterparts, made in the A& F All Day Comfort Stretch Denim that the skinny jeans are made of. Since they are less stiff, I love these for a day of running errands or a night out, as you wont feel the waistband digging into you as they morph into a second skin throughout the day.
- I got a size 32, one size higher than normal for a more comfortable fit in the waistband. Size ranges from 23 to 37 and lengths include extra short, short, regular and long.

The criss-cross waistband of the 90s Ultra High Rise Straight Jean is actually the reason I found this pair of denim to begin with. I had been eyeing up AGOLDEs popular criss-cross pair, but just couldnt commit to it. When I found these I jumped at the chance to see what these would look like on me. I loved them so much, I had to know what the regular waistband was like!

Im wearing the exact same size in both styles of 90s Ultra High-Rise Jeans pictured below, but notice how the criss-cross band really creates more of an appearance of curves . The booty is fitted, with the pockets look as if I really did stretch the front of my jeans to close at an asymmetrical angle. This makes my booty appear rounder than the regular waistband ! The regular waistband hits right at my belly button, with the criss-cross falling just below.

The first pair of jeans Im sharing are the 90s Straight Ultra High-Rise Jeans, shown here in the light wash.
These are made from the A& F vintage stretch denim. This particular pair is the most stiff of the roundup, however, they are still soft and they are not as stiff as Levis.
That being said, the jeans dont have a lot of stretch either so they wont loosen up and sag throughout the day.
The 90s Straight Ultra High-Rise Jeans are the highest rise jeans Abercrombie makes. I have a longer torso so high-rise jeans arent always high on me, but these are! They actually cover my belly button and most high-rise jeans dont.
A few more details to note:

- They are made of 99% cotton and 1% elastin
- Fit is true to size
I have two side-by-side photos here showing these jeans both in the size 25 and size 26. As you can see, the difference is pretty nominal. Though if you plan on wearing these jeans with a crop top, definitely size up.

Out of all of the jeans in this Abercrombie & Fit jeans review, the 90s Ultra High-Rise Straight Ankle Crop were my absolute favorite! These were by far the best fit on me and youll love these if youre shopping for ankle length jeans.
These jeans literally fit like a glove: they are perfectly slim throughout the waist and hip, theres no gaping in the back and they are a straight crop style. Talk about a perfect fit!
At my height I have difficulty finding ankle crop jeans that fit well. I ordered these in the regular length and they actually fit great!

Abercrombie & Fitch Curve Love Ultra High
People RAVE about Abercrombie Curve Love Jeans. And although Im pretty straight throughout the hips, I wanted to give them a try.
The difference between the regular Abercrombie & Fitch Jeans vs. the Curve Love jeans is that with the latter, there is an extra 2 through the hip and thigh area.
This is meant to help eliminate the dreaded waist gap, especially in high-waist jeans!
For me, the extra 2 of fabric was definitely noticeable and not in a flattering way. However, these jeans are not meant for my body type, I solely purchased them for review purposes and to try them out.
Ultimately, I think these jeans would look amazing and are a great option if you need more room around the hip area as they really do accentuate curves. The fabric is the same quality, there is a large size range and they also come in 5 length options!
Curve Love High Rise Mom Jeans $89
These aint your mamas jeans. Unless your mother is ultra-fashionable, then feel free to share these with her.
I love Mom jeans because I have a higher waist on a short torso and then a wider set of hips moving down. Since they have a snug waistband but then a wide fit in the rest of the pants, these are perfect on me.
I wore these all day running errands and they did stretch out a bit, so I should have stuck with my normal size 31 instead of sizing up, but it was nothing a belt couldnt fix. They are made of the softer A& F All Day Comfort Stretch Denim fabric, so this made sense and the trade-off is that you get a comfy and lighter-weight pair for running around.

I never knew the difference between mom and dad jeans, but now Im glad I do and that I have both in my closet. The High Rise Dad Jeans are more of a straight-leg pair, where Mom likes to hug curves a bit more. They also have a looser fit, which is fine if you choose your actual size or even one smaller than normal, even though the A& F Vintage Stretch Denim wont stretch out too much.
