Remember those TikTok famous yoga pants everybody went wild for? The phenomenon is back, but this time in the form of TikTok jeans from Gap.
The video sharing app has been responsible for causing various fashion and beauty items to sell out over the last couple of years, from the Maybelline Sky High mascara to the new KVD Beauty Good Apple Foundation .
Described by TikTok users as being something 90s Rachel Green would wear in Friends, videos covering the jeans have racked up hundreds of thousands of views and likes on the platform.
“These are it, yes!” user @superashley127 said of the TikTok jeans in a clip. “These have a little more room, super comfy, super cute, perfect length, I love the wash. These are like a really classic, old school ’90s straight jean, very much Rachel Green vibes. I’m living for it.
“Super duper comfy, no digging, no anything, I feel like these are it. This is the win of the Gap haul,” she added. “She’s winning!”

I truly believe people should be wearing the jeans they find most comfortable and flattering on their body, says Arad. A pair is worth the money if it fits you well, and you know youll wear it time and again. That being said, I would put the cap on this style at $300, with most high-end brands coming in around $250, says Arad.

THE VERDICT: I sent it back because I dont really need it right now. If I was doing 25 Days of Fall Fashion, I would have featured it for sure.

What To Look For With The Best High
- Style: Not all high-waisted jeans are created equal. In fact, if theyre cut too tight at the waist, they can be downright uncomfortable. When shopping for a pair, Arad has this advice: Go for the highest waist thats comfortable. For shorter frames, wearing a high-waisted style with a heel and having the hem fall further than your natural ankle line will really help elongate your legs as well.
- Fabric: While stretchy jeans can sound a bit dated, the truth is, you want a fabric that offers a bit of give for comfort. Arad says to look for at least one to two percent spandex in the fabric, especially if you sit at a desk all day or spend time driving, when your body is bent at the waist. Also, high-end brands spend more time perfecting the hand on their denimmeaning, the feel of the fabricso pricier jeans may be softer and all around more comfortable, she says.
- Sizes: A high-waisted jean calls for taking your proper size. I tell my clients that its the job of the clothes to fit the person, not the other way around, says Arad. So dont contort yourself to fit into a jean size you think you should be wearing but doesnt feel right.

Try On Haul: Denim Comparison
Ive been experimenting with a bunch of different crop straight jeans, and Ive tried them on with various shoe and top combinations, trying to figure out how to wear this new silhouette.
Im learning that getting the length right is key to making this look work. I like mine to be a good inch or two above the ankle bone for a true crop. The ankle-length ones just look like floods at least on me.
First up, a true crop straight . . .
GAP High Rise Cheeky Straight Jeans size 29 // These are a true crop straight jean. They look a lot like the Levis that have made this look so popular, right down to the thicker vintage-inspired denim and the lighter wash.
Believe it or not, I actually like these. I got a mixed response when I posted a picture to Instagram, but I think theyre fairly flattering, all things considered. I mean, I still think I look best in skinnies, but these are fun for a change.
I styled them two ways, trying to figure out if I wanted to commit. This first way is a fall look with a shorter sweater and loafer mules.
And then for summer, with a tank top and leather sneakers.
Notice how theres a good two inches of skin showing between the hem of the jeans and the shoes. Since our ankles tend to be the thinnest part of our leg, its flattering to expose some skin when wearing a cropped pant.
I like the distressed hem on the back, and I also like the smaller rear pockets. In fact, the pocket placement in general is very flattering.

Ill just put it right out there this post is a doozie. And it is all over the map . . . jeans, cocktail attire, fall dresses, and about 25 retailers represented.
Okay, I exaggerate. But still. Its a lot, so Im just going to dive right in.
The usual disclaimers apply Im 55 with a slightly hourglass shape, and I usually wear small tops and a 6 or 8 in pants. My average dress size is an 8, but depending on the brand, I have everything in my closet from 4 to 12.
