Loafers With Wide Leg Jeans

Levi’s 527 Slim Bootcut Jeans with Cowboy Boots!

For boxy wide leg jeans, choose a chunky soled loafers, with or without metallic hardware whichever is more your style. For a finer, higher-waisted, 70s-inspired floor-grazing wide leg jean, pick a classic loafer with a slightly square toe. Patent versions can be fun too!

A simple low loafer makes a great conservative office shoe with wider jeans, when paired with a simple blouse. Cropped wide-leg jeans also work well with loafer mules, and if you’re wearing Gucci’s Pricetown slip-ons in black or white, you can’t go wrong!

Best Shoes To Wear With Flare Jeans In 2022

Flare jeans whether more subtle or wide legged bell bottom styles, make footwear choices a little easier compared to skinny jeans.

Most flared hemlines are so exceedingly long in length and wide, that most shoes can go relatively unnoticed. Think Rachel Zoe’s street style !

Or these Frame Denim flares, below. It’s like, shoes? What shoes?!

I’m loving the return of the flared jean & bell bottoms in jeans and pants in general, which haven’t been big since 2015!

And that’s because they flatter most body types & are the perfect jean to sneak in a pair of comfortable shoes such as wedges, platforms, flats & sneakers. You can hide almost anything under those!!

Unless, of course, when you wear shorter or cropped flare jeans, your shoes will definitely have more impact to the overall look of your outfit, as they will be clearly visible.

Flats For Skinny Jeans

Your best option for wearing flats with skinny jeans is, as with pumps, a thinner sole with a tapered toe shape.

Why? If you pair tight pants with a square or rounded toe shape, youll look like a flat-footed duck. Sorry for being blunt folks, but that’s the hard truth!

It’s also worth mentioning that if youve got a very long, lean foot, a pointed toe flat is a huge no-no.

These will make your feet look extra long & awkward. Here below, are 3 of my favourite flat shoes to wear with skinny jeans:

Pair With A Denim Jacket

When casually wearing Hey Dude shoes, what you wear with them is also very important. And denim jackets are the best fit for Hey Dude shoes. In other words, Hey Dude shoes will be truly perfect if it is combined with denim jackets. So long as you wear this combination with a beautiful T-shirt or a sweater, your outfit will be filled with personality and full of charm!

Denim jackets are simple and basic, but they are an extremely popular item in todays mens fashion. They may be worn any time of year, although they are best worn in the fall and winter. You can wear them even when going out to dinner or having fun with friends. It is recommended that the color of them is light blue or grey.

Finding The Right Fit

  • 1Get a pair with a shorter inseam if you are petite. The inseam, or length from the top of the inside of your thigh to the cuff, is important when it comes to bootcut jeans, especially for petite or shorter people. You do not want an inseam that is very long, as the jeans will be too long for your legs and you may need to hem off the bootcut portion of the pants to get them to fit. Instead, opt for an inseam that is made for petite people, usually around 29 to 30 inches .
  • You may need to still hem the jeans to fit your legs, but with a shorter inseam, you will have to take off less of the bootcut.
  • 2Go for a pair with a longer inseam if you plan to wear heels. Bootcut jeans are usually styled with high heeled boots, pumps, or sandals with a heel. Make sure you get a nice long, lean look by getting a pair of bootcut jeans that have an inseam that is 1 to 2 inches longer than your usual inseam. A longer inseam will ensure the jeans hit 1 inch above your shoes.
  • If you are petite, opt for a shorter inseam so the jeans sit above your shoes when you wear heels.
  • 3Try cropped bootcut jeans for a trendy look. Cropped bootcut jeans sit 1 to 3 inches above your ankles, flaring slightly below your knees. They are a fun option if you want to show off a pair of shoes or even a pair of socks with your shoes. This style is very on trend and can be worn by petite or tall people.

How to wear BOOTS with JEANS | Tutorial

It goes without saying that style & what is deemed best in fashion or otherwise is entirely relative to personal taste & culture.

If you want a guide to skinny jeans that is on-trend, classy & seeking more traditional proportions seen in street style pics during fashion weeks, then this guides for you.

Because lets face it: most of us have a hard time pulling off clunky, enormous shoes with such a dainty pair of jeans! So here’s your go-to guide to the various types of shoes for women that go with skinny jeans.

    What Are Bootcut Jeans

Bootcut jeans are slim-fitting jeans that lightly flare out from the knee, just enough to fit a boot. Hence, the name!

Some retailers are even calling them skinny flares! This makes sense, as they’re a tighter, more subtle flared jean style. They are also extremely flattering on all body types.

You can find bootcut jeans of all lengths including cropped, ankle and floor length. I prefer bootcut jeans that hit right at the ankle. These are more versatile as they will accommodate any type of shoe or boot!

Bootcut jeans can be dressed up or down with the right shoes, depending on the wash. These jeans are simpler to style than bell bottom jeans or large flared ones. This is because the look is more subtle, giving just enough calf and ankle room for a boot.

Wide Leg Pants And Denim Jacket

This kind of outfit can also make Hey Dude shoes look very stylish. It is a simple style, but it is not boring at all. If you want to create a casual yet elegant atmosphere, this combination will work responsibly. Just like the previous example, there are lots of options for denim jackets and pants as well. The only difference is that denim jackets are more stylish in this case.

Wide-leg shorts give you a feeling of absolute freedom and comfort. If you love this style, buy yourself a pair of Hey Dude shoes with bright or white tones that, that easy to coordinate. Especially if you are thin and slim, you will be able to wear it with a denim jacket, wide-leg pants, and Hey Dude shoes to hide your flaws.

Chunky Heels With Wide Leg Jeans

Chunky heels are a trending style of heels right now, but they also look great with wide leg jeans. With longer jeans especially, this means your chunky shoes won’t be dragged away by the weight and sway of the jean. Or slipping out of your heels.

I like how a more significant heel on a sandal can even out the visual weight of a wider leg jean. Top the look off with a cropped top or boxy tee.

    Flare Jeans With Flat Sandals

Shop Flat Sandals with Flare Jeans:

Want to keep it casual & heel-less but don’t want your feet cooped up in a pair of sneakers? Although flats may not come to mind when thinking of how to wear flare jeans, they’re definitely an option.

Why not try on a single-soled strappy flat or gladiator sandal with your flare jeans, for a relaxed bohemian feel?

I’m currently crushing on those white flare jeans with beige sandals above, myself! These are definitely a better option with flare to barely boot cut jeans.

I would definitely not recommend a flat shoe with extra wide bell bottoms, for both comfort and styling reasons, such at the image of the model wearing bell bottoms with her sandals on the right. Although it definitely is a particular look, if not worn well, if can make you look messy.

Flare Hemline tip: hemlines are even more important here, as the longer the jean, the more of a laissez-faire vibe you’re going to emit.

Translation: you’ll look sloppy. See image above, right. But if that’s what you’re going for, then who am I to stop you!? My two cents?

Aim for a hemline where the back edge barely scrapes the pavement: you’ll drag less dirt around, prevent edges from fraying & your jeans will be far easier to walk around in.

Example: pant/sandal combo in the image above on the left & centre.

Chunky Chelsea Boots & Combat Boots

Chunky Chelsea and combat boots are two of the most popular boot styles to wear with boot jeans. Even the less trendy styles have a chunky, gritty aesthetic that will add an edge to any bootcut jeans outfit.

I love these types of boots with bootcut jeans that are ankle length or slightly taller. That way you can show off any contrast Chelsea boot side elastic or combat boot laces.

Wear these chunky boots with your jeans, a rocker tee and a tailored black blazer for an unexpected edgy chic look. Pull your hair back in a slicked bun and add gold hoop earrings and a black crossbody to complete the look.

Ankle Boots With Bootcut Jeans Outfits

Leather ankle boots are a staple with all kinds of clothing, not just jeans. But ankle boots and bootcut jeans fit perfectly together. You just need to figure out what style you’re going for in your look.

    Pointed-toe boots

I love a pointed-toe boot with bootcut jeans. If you’re not feeling this aesthetic, you can opt for an almond toe, as the look will be more subtle.

A more pointed-toe bootie can elevate your bootcut jeans outfit, especially if you’re wearing a darker denim wash or black pair. Try a high waisted pair with a bodysuit and black or metallic booties with some statement jewelry for a night out.

You can also dress down a pointed-toe ankle boot in all colors. Choose a chunkier heel, medium to light wash jeans and a boyfriend tee or oversized sweater.

    Square-toe Boots

Square-toe boots are really fun and unexpected. You can find them with smaller, rounded, more subtle toe shapes to more pronounced ones.

The latter will look more casual with your bootcut jeans outfits, especially in a brown, tan or beige color, with a lower chunky heel. Try an ankle or cropped bootcut jean with a square-toe boot to show off any detailing it might have.

The question is, what to wear with hey dude shoes? Here are some ideas:

    Pointed Pumps With Flare Jeans

Lee Jeans Fit Finder- Men’s Thigh

Oh, I can just hear the uproar on this one! Yes, many will state that pointy toe pumps work great with EVERY jean type, but remember: we’re not talking about a simple bootcut jean, but super bell bottom jeans here.

Bell bottoms are wider & bulkier, which is why the dainty nature of a pointed toe isn’t ideal. Flared & wide legged jeans generally need a heftier shoe to go underneath, especially longer styles.

A pointed pump peeking out underneath kinda makes it look like you’re wearing witch shoes under those jeans, don’t you think?

It’s also easy to snag the back of the jeans with the thin heels and not only rip your jeans, but it is a tripping hazard. Not the ideal shoes to wear with flare jeans for sure! See the photo above from as an example.

Then again, if your flares are to cover even the tip of the pointed toe, no one ever has to know But remember ladies: this is your time to wear comfortable shoes, so why not take advantage of it?!

    Pumps With Bootcut Jeans

Pumps with bootcut jeans and a fab pairing that will never go out of style. Or at least I hope! Longer or cropped bootcut jeans can be paired with them. I love a shorter pair to show off an ankle strap!

Tall pumps give an elevated feel, especially with taller-waisted bootcut jeans and a smart top and jacket. This makes an excellent combo for work.

If your bootcut jeans are darker, pair them with a light colored pump for a fun contrast. A contrast toe-cap is really fun too!

If you want your legs to look longer, add a pair of similarly toned pumps to a longer pair of bootcut jeans that almost touches the ground. Your choice if you want to give off 90s vibes like Megan Fox has!

    Perfect Boots With Bootcut Jeans

Bootcut jeans are the perfect type of jeans to wear with boots. I mean, you kind of know this, just by the name! Boots provide a good balance and proportion to any bootcut jeans outfit.

When choosing boots to wear with bootcut jeans, it’s important to remember the overall style you’re going for. Toe shape, heel shape, color and style will all play a part in the look.

    Clogs With Wide Leg Jeans

The 70s are having their moment and you can step right into that groovy era and into a pair of clogs. Black, tan, brown, and other neutral colors all complement wide leg jeans.

Opt for slip-on clogs with cropped wide leg jeans and clogs with ankle straps for baggy ones. Choose a pair of wide leg jeans with a distressed or live-edge hem for a funky look with your clogs.
