The Catherine Boyfriend Jean is a style Ive been buying for years! I love that is has a wider leg but still fitted around the hips and thighs so its not adding too much bulk. I am wearing these in a 12R and they are too long on me and slightly large so I would grab these in a 12P for best fit. These are slightly lower in the rise and hit right below my bellybutton. If you like the length then size down if in-between.
These jeans look great in early fall with some sneakers and tee!
Donna High Rise Ab Fab Exposed Button Fray Hem- Judgement Wash
These button fly distressed black jeans are basically the cooler sister to my most worn KUT jeans last year. I love the fit of the skinny leg, open knee and higher rise. These are on the thinner side with great stretch for perfect for date nights when I want to look cute and comfy. Im in a 12R and typically keep this size and take a little bit of length off myself with a fresh cut then wash for the fray. If you are not comfortable cutting your own jeans these are available in a petite length.
I would wear these with some cute bootie and Moto jacket for fall.

Who Wears Kut Denim
KUT is for the everyday girl who needs denim she can “mom” in but also dresses up for a dinner date. It can be clean & classy or destructed & edgy and even after a day of wear, it can be folded up on the shelf & worn the next day. KUT from the Kloth is the perfect denim for their denim buying demographic.
What I Look For
I have been buying KUT from the Kloth jeans for YEARS because they are one of the few brands that really fit my body well. Although even in their mix of jeans there are some that fit me better than others.
Most KUT from the Kloth jeans have a rise between 9 3/4 10 3/4 rise. That for me has been the perfect not too high, not too low golden area. I tend to like the 10 3/4 rise best these days and those are labeled high rise.
The inseams on KUT from the Kloth jeans tend to be long, some as long as 30 so for my 55 height I look for the ankle styles and petite lengths. The Catherine Boyfriend style has the shortest length with a wider leg and rolled cuff that is 26 in the regular and even shorter in petite.
RISE is the distance from the middle of the crotch seam to the top of the waistband. It usually ranges from 7 inches to 12 inches. Pant rise is important because it determines where your pants sit on your body, which in turn creates your perceived waistline.
INSEAM is the measurement from the crotch to the bottom of the leg or hem.
Then I look at distressing, hem finish and zip vs. button. Again I LOVE the variety I find with KUT from the Kloth I can get a classic dark blue pair of non distressed jeans with the Donna High Rise Fab Ab Ankle Skinny in Alive. Or go a little more date night style with the button fly and distressing of the Donna High Rise Fab Ab Exposed Button Fray Hem.
